Bertie and Crew is a family run business.

Leanne and Tim holidayed in the beautiful coastal town of Brixham for eleven years whilst their two children were growing up and decided to invest in a holiday home here.

Having found the perfect fisherman cottage just off the harbour and after many months of trying to convince themselves they couldn’t let anyone stay as there were “jobs to do”, they decided to relocate instead and so moved here in 2009 and have never looked back.

Leanne had worked in retail, sales and more recently the holiday letting industry so knew not only the retail side of the business, but also the seasonality the area offered. Tim was and still is a full time plumber and gas engineer helping out in the shop at weekends.

Both have a passion for people and building relationships with locals and returning visitors as well as suppliers to ensure quality and uniqueness in the products they offer.
